Cat Wall Shelves — Wall Mounted Cat Climbing Set with Hammock & Sisal Steps
Floor space is the thing most apartments don't have. Wall-mounted shelves give a cat somewhere to climb without giving up a corner of the room — and cats care far more about height than about square footage.
Vertical territory is the point
Cats measure a home in levels, not floor area. Height is where they feel safe, watch from, and get away from each other. In a multi-cat household this matters more than anything else you can buy: most tension between cats comes from competing for one good high spot, and the fix is simply more high spots.
What's included
- Hammock for sleeping high up, which is where cats prefer to do it.
- Stairway shelves that build a climbing route up the wall.
- Sisal rope posts for scratching at full stretch — vertical scratching is what cats actually want, and floor scratchers rarely satisfy it.
- Multiple set options, so you can start small and extend the route later.
Good for
- Apartments and small rooms with no space for a floor-standing tree
- Multi-cat homes that need more than one elevated perch
- Older cats who want height but need staged steps rather than one big jump
Fitting it properly
Fix into studs or use proper wall anchors rated well above your cat's weight — a cat landing on a shelf briefly loads it with several times their body weight. Space the steps around 12–16 inches apart vertically so the climb is a comfortable stride rather than a leap, and start the lowest shelf within easy jumping range of a sofa or sill.
Check what your wall is made of before ordering. Plasterboard without a stud behind it needs heavy-duty anchors.
